In his research, Serban Toader explored the leadership experiences of Early Cohort Millennials in an international professional auditing services firm in Romania. He contributed to a better understanding of how leaders developed their abilities and how their performance as leaders influenced their professional careers and the careers of others. Previously, few papers addressed Millennial leaders’ perceived experiences, and none covered Millennial leaders in a professional auditing services firm.
His research identified that Early Cohort Millennial leaders followed a three stages leadership development process, embedded in their adult development. Early Cohort Millennial leaders exhibited, to different extents, all components of transformational leadership. His study contributed practical recommendations that may support Early Cohort Millennials in advancing to become the leaders they want to be.
